Tower Energy Group, a privately-owned, 18-year old company has a terrific opportunity for a dynamic individual in our growing corporate office, located in Torrance.
We are currently seeking an Accounting Analyst for our Retail department. This individual will be responsible for reporting daily operations.
The responsibilities of this position includes cash processing and reconciliation, sales processing and reconciliation, accounts payable processing, credit card reconciliation and month end financial processing and analysis.
In addition to daily operational responsibilities the Retail Accounting Analyst is responsible for the automation of retail accounting functions, assisting in the training of Retail personnel along with special project assignments.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an US accredited institution with a concentration in Accounting and/or Finance.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Excel and Word required.
- Strong analytical skills and accuracy in the completion of daily tasks
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve problems are required to be successful in this position.
Preferred Experience:
- Mas90 or Mas200 Accounting Systems
Must have a highly professional demeanor and appearance – high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required; Candidate must have some previous experience in the field of accounting and/or finance.
